The 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is here, taking place at the PalaOlimpico in Turin, Italy. 40 different European artists competed this year, in the hopes of winning the coveted Eurovision cup.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2022 starts on May 10th with the semi-finals, while the grand final is held on Saturday May 14th.
Under the current circumstances, Ukraine has been predicted as a likely winer for Eurovision 2022. Kalush Orchestra, the rap entry, has been backed and considered as a favourite, as fans want to show support for the country this year.
Italy won the contest in 2021 with Maneskin and they were initially favourites once agai this year, but their support dropped slightly and they drifted from the top spot.
Sweden's Cornelia Jakobs, ranks third in our betting market. They performed second in the semi-final and made it through to the finals on Saturday. We'll wait and see what their placing would be in the Grand Finale!
While UK has not performed favourably over the past few years, this year they have Tik Tok star Sam Ryder who has made it to the finals with a fantastic entry. There has also been plenty of buzz for the Greece entry, Belgium, Italy and Spain.
Australia's Sheldon Riley has also made it into the finals and ranks 12th to win in our betting market.
